Alerts
A state of emergency at our plant would be indicated with a siren. There are two kinds of sound patterns. The first has sound on for 8 seconds and goes off for 4 seconds. That indicates that the plant fire brigade has been called out. The highest-ranking employee at each location is responsible for identifying the cause for alarm, and executing a response. The second sound pattern is 4 seconds on and goes off for 4 seconds. That means that all buildings should be evacuated.
Cancellation of a state of emergency is indicated with the siren sounding for 60 seconds.
In addition, individual buildings are equipped with fire alarms. Please evacuate the building when it goes off.
